The short story “The Ghost Girl” by Richard Larson was published for the first time in 2014.
After reading another article about the ghost girl who lived in a dump outside Bujumbura, Iguo decides to investigate to understand whether it’s only an urban legend or there’s something real behind it. What he finds is a consequence of the war fought in the previous years.
“Terror Camp Clear” is the eighth episode of the TV show “The Terror”, an adapatation of a novel by Dan Simmons with the same title, and follows “Horrible from Supper”.

On the planet Faligor a sentient species developed a pre-technological civilization in which a certain balance has been established among the various tribes. The Republic’s interference in the history of other more primitive species led to catastrophic results so this time humans arriving on the planet try to have a more friendly attitude towards the natives.
Through Arthur Cartright of the Department of Cartography and some other human representatives of the Republic, an attempt is being made to prepare the natives for contacts with other planets that may include business relationships. Despite good will, the balance on Faligor is destroyed.
An article published in the journal “Nature” describes a research on the skull structure of Ichthyornis dispar, an ancient bird that lived almost 100 million years ago in North America. A team of researchers led by Yale University examined a complete skull and two pieces that were part of the first specimen of this species discovered in 1870 thanks to new technologies concluding that its characteristics represent a crucial moment in the evolution from dinosaurs to modern birds.
The novel “Coyote Frontier” by Allen Steele was published for the first time in 2005. It’s the third novel in the Coyote series and follows “Coyote Rising”.
When a spaceship from the European Alliance reaches Coyote, its inhabitants are preparing for the worst. For Coyote’s inhabitants the situation is completely new. Computers and other equipment available are old and slowly failing, getting new supplies would improve everyone’s life. The priority, however, is to maintain their independence but in establishing business relationships with the Earth there’s the risk of repeating the mistakes made on the mother planet.
