On January 7, 1961, in the UK the first episode of the show “The Avengers” was broadcast. The show went on until 1969 and it’s one of the most famous British TV shows of that era. Patrick Macnee was a protagonist in all its seasons and in “The New Avengers”, the TV show that in the ’70s tried to renew the success of “The Avengers”.

It’s been one month since my transition to digital terrestrial television after the switch off in my region. Initially I did a new channels automatic scan and store almost every day to check if there were new ones and if some of them changed number. After some days I started doing it only once a week because I noticed that at that point the problems I initially had with some national channels had disappeared and sometimes no new channels appeared.

On Friday, December 3, in my region there was the switch off with the move to digital terrestrial television. In Italy the various regions, sometimes provinces on their own, have been switching to DTT during this year, my region is one of the last to do it.
