Drazen Petrovic was born on October 22, 1964 in Sibenik, in the then Yugoslavia, now Croatia. He conquered many titles in the Yugoslavian league and at International level with Cibona Zagreb and the Yugoslavian national team. Considered a national hero in Croatia, where a museum dedicated to him was opened, Drazen Petrovic was included in the American Hall of Fame in 2002, a global recognition of his greatness. He’s one of the greatest players in the history of European basketball, with an extraordinary individual technique and exceptional mental strength that made him an absolute winner. He died tragically on June 7, 1993 in a car accident.

Ballmer’s offer was the most solid since May and with $2 billion he was able to buy the Clippers.
The news had already leaked a few days ago and now it’s official: Byron Scott (photo ©Erik Drost) is the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. The team policy is not to rleased the details of the agreement but according to rumors the contract is for four years for a total of $17 million. The native of Inglewood, near the old Forum where the Lakers played for several years, will have the difficult task of bringing the team back to a high level after the last difficult seasons.
In a letter to Sports Illustrated, LeBron James announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. After four seasons with the Miami Heat with as many finals and two NBA titles won, he decided to return to what basically considers his home. This despite the controversy caused in 2010 by “The Decision”, the television special in which he announced that he was leaving the Cavaliers for the Heat.
