Lois McMaster Bujold was born on November 2, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. In the 1980s Lois McMaster Bujold she wrote the first three novels of the Vorkosigan Saga, her best known science fiction work. In the following decades she had success in the fantasy genre as well with the Chalion series and the series known as The Sharing Knife.

Neal Town Stephenson was born on October 31, 1959 in Fort Meade, Maryland, USA. Neal Stephenson’s career as a writer began in 1984 with the novel “The Big U”, a satire on university life. A novel more typical of his production was “Zodiac” (1988), an ecological thriller.

Neal Stephenson isn’t a very prolific writer, although some of his novels are really long. He’s often not easy to read because his novels can be really complex with the development of many different themes. You can also read his articles in technology magazines.

60 years of The Twilight Zone

On October 2, 1959, the TV show “The Twilight Zone” made its debut in the USA. It lasted until 1964 for a total of 5 seasons. In the following decades it had various revivals with the second version broadcast between 1985 and 1989, the third version in the 2002-2003 season and the most recent one started in 2019.

Ian McKellen was born on May 25, 1939, in Burnley, England. After studying at the University of Cambridge, he kept on studying theater working for a few years for small theater companies. In 1964, he was invited to join the National Theatre Company.

Ian McKellen’s participation in the movie “Apt Pupil” was his first work with director Bryan Singer, with whom he kept on collaborating when he played for the first time the character of Magneto in “X-Men” (2000). The actor reprised the role in various movies of the following years again for Bryan Singer, except in “X-Men: The Last Stand”, directed by Brett Ratner. In 2001, the first movie of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy was released, in which the actor plays Gandalf, a role reprised in the following decade in “The Hobbit” trilogy, with both trilogies directed by Peter Jackson.

Today, Ian McKellen is very well known to the general public thanks to his roles in highly successful sagas, but his reputation has been remarkable for decades. His name is linked to productions at the moment in various stages so even if he’s no longer a boy we can still see him in new roles.

Aziraphale is an angel while Crowley is a demon, although they’re part of the opposite factions among them a sincere friendship developed and both of them enjoy their life on Earth, where they have lived for millennia. For this reason the Apocalypse is really a nuisance for them and, despite the fact that it was carefully planned since the Creation, the two them are looking for a loophole to avoid it.

The Antichrist is about to reach the age when he will start manifesting his powers and the only hope for Aziraphale and Crowley is that he grows in a way that never leads him to perform the acts needed to start the end of the world. The plan could work despite the signs of the impending Apocalypse if the child the two are trying to influence was indeed the Antichrist.
