NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced the decisions taken on behalf of the league against Donald Sterling, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, following the circulation of his racist statements. Sterling has been fined $2.5 million and above all was banned for life from the NBA. This means he can’t participate in any way in the Clippers activities and Adam Silver asked the owners of the other NBA teams to start a motion to force Sterling to sell the franchise.

The rumors had been circulating for several days, now Greg Oden, who hasn’t played a game since 2009, announced that he has signed a contract with the Miami Heat. Oden was the first overall pick in the NBA draft 2007, selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. However, due to serious injuries to both his knees his career semmed already over.
