The first Chinese female astronaut took off on the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft
In China it was late afternoon when the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft took off using a modified Long March 2F carrier rocket, the most powerful rocket built by the Chinese. On board there are three astronauts, including the first Chinese woman, whose mission is to test manual docking to the Tiangong 1 module, which was put into orbit in September 2011.

Yesterday, the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft was released from the International Space Station and came back to Earth. Meanwhile, SpaceX announced that it signed a contract with Intelsat, the world’s largest supplier of satellite services to use the Falcon Heavy rocket for the launch of a satellite in a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO).
