Randy Moss (picture ©Keith Allison) signed for the Tennessee Titans. A player that goes to another team during a season isn’t a special event but in this case we’re talking about one of the most controversial player in the NFL who also is at his second team movement in this season. In fact Moss played four games with the New England Patriots then he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, playing four more games with them before being waived.

You could write a book on Randy Moss life but now we have to see how things are going to go with the Tennessee Titans. Let’s remember that the Titans head coach, Jeff Fisher, is the one with the most stable position in the NFL: actually he’s been the only one in Tennessee Titans history as he got that position during 1994 season but for the Houston Oilers, which in 1997 moved to Tennessee changing for the occasion the team name.

Even if the time when Jeff Fisher led the Titans to the Superbowl look long gone, the coach still seems to have credibility, will it be enough to handle a player such as Randy Moss?

In theory hiring the player makes sense as Kenny Britt, the Titans best wide receiver, is out indefinitely due to an injury. As a matter of facts first of all we’ll have to see how much Randy Moss is going to follow the coach directives and will be committed to the task.

Other teams had the chance to hire a player who anyway during this season scored five touch-downs, it’s easy to think that many of them got scared by Randy Moss reputation and preferred not to take the risk.

The Titans were in a delicate position after Kenny Britt injury and I think that they were right in taking a risk because their season was compromised anyway and if Randy Moss is motivated he can still give his team a big hand. in this season Moss could score a touch-down with three different teams, not something easy to do.

Obviously it’s impossible to get into Randy Moss head to understand what he really wants to do: will he decide to be still a great player? The choice is all his.
