On October 11, 2012, the Euroleague 2012/2013 starts. The first game won’t be played on Monday like in the last seasons and above all the games will be generally played on Thursday and Friday.

Olympiacos Piraeus won basketball Euroleague 2011-2012 upsetting CSKA Moscow in the final. The Russian team dominated part of the final but with a last-second basket the Greek team won 62-61.

This weekend Istanbul is hosting Basketball Euroleague Final Four 2011/2012. On Friday May 11 there will be the semifinals and on Sunday, May 13 there will be the finals.

On Tuesday March 20 the basketball Euroleague 2011/2012 quarter-finals will start. This round will be played in a playoff series to the best of five games in which each team that was ranked first in their group will face one of the Top 16 teams that finished second in another group.
