After months of rumors and expectations, Google officially announced its new cloud storage service Google Drive. All the users who have a Google account can have 5 GB of free space to upload their files and share them with other people.

Google announced it has exceeded one hundred and seventy million users registered to Google+ but particularly the company launched the new look of its social network.

Yesterday, Google announced Project Glass, which has the purpose of creating glasses that can provide an augmented reality. These glasses, at least in the prototype shown by Google, are composed of a frame similar to the one of ordinary glasses with a display near the right eye. An operating system sends real-time various information to the users depending on what they’re doing.

Thanks to a collaboration between Google and the Israel Museum, the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls have been put online in a section of the museum site specifically created. Initially, five scrolls have been put on-line but others are being digitized and the project plans to put online almost all those in possession of the museum by 2016.
