The novel “The Midwich Cuckoos” by John Wyndham was published for the first time in 1957. “The Midwich Cuckoos” was adapted into a movie twice: in 1960 in the classic “Village of the Damned” and in the 1995 remake “John Carpenter’s Village of the Damned”. The novel has also been adapted in various radio versions by the BBC.
