The novel “The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet” by Becky Chambers was published for the first time in 2014. It’s the first book in the Wayfarers series.

Ashby Santoso is the captain of the starship Wayfarer and decided to hire a new clerk to fix the paperwork aboard the ship. Rosemary Harper joins his crew, composed of people belonging to various species, and even before dealing with the dangers of interstellar travel she has to learn to handle the relationships with them.

The Wayfarer gets a contract to open a new route to an area of ​​the galaxy where a species has long been engaged in a war among factions. That’s a remarkable opportunity because the gain will be very high but nobody can say how risky it is to travel in the war area and the problems can arrive even in other areas of the space.

“Come and Get Me” is the ninth episode of the second season of the TV show “The Terror”, which was named “The Terror: Infamy”, and follows “My Sweet Boy”. It’s broadcast in the USA on AMC Studios and in other nations on Amazon Prime Video.

The internment camps get closed and the Japanese-Americans return to their homes. However, Henry Nakayama (Shingo Usami) and his wife Asako (Naoko Mori) find nothing of what they had and must make do to survive. They find out what happened to Chester (Derek Mio) only when he calls to ask for their help to protect Luz Ojeda (Cristina Rodlo).

On October 9, 1965, the episode “Mission to the Unknown” was broadcast, part of the third season of “Doctor Who” classic series. It’s one of the missing episodes but exactly 54 years later a remake was broadcast, created by students of the University of Central Lancashire based on audio, existing thanks to separate recordings, and images from the episode.

Her father Sylvester Weaver was an NBC executive and her uncle Winstead Sheffield Glenndenning Dixon “Doodles” Weaver was an actor and a musician. She was a young girl when she started using the nickname Sigourney, after a character from the novel “The Great Gatsby”.

Sigourney Weaver proved through the years to be a versatile actress but many call her the science fiction queen for the successes she had in that genre and above all for the importance of her role as Ellen Ripley.

Foreigner by Robert J. Sawyer

The novel “Foreigner” by Robert J. Sawyer was published for the first time in 1994. It’s the third book of the Quintaglio Ascension trilogy and follows “Fossil Hunter”.

Afsan has an accident and is seriously injured but survives and the damaged tissues start regenerating. Unexpectedly, even his eyes start growing back but when they are complete he still can’t see anything. His problem may be mental, so he starts seeing Mokleb, who is developing the new science of psychoanalysis.

Novato continues her study of the Jijaki ark with her assistants but accidentally they activate a system that’s still working which begins the formation of a tower that extends upwards into space. Toroca continues his explorations and in a remote archipelago discovers the existence of another species of sentient saurians but the other Quintaglios react with territorial fury just seeing them.
