Agnieszka Radwanska is getting the best results of her career and on next Monday she’ll be no. 2 in the WTA rankings. Despite a very difficult first set and some respiratory issues she didn’t get discouraged and gave us a good final. She’s a great player technically however she lacks the power of her best opponents but can still improve and win a Grand Slam tournament.
Serena Williams arrived at Wimbledon with some doubt because she was eliminated in the first round at Roland Garros and seemed in bad shape. She found her shape through the tournament and in the latest rounds she defeated Kvitova, the now former champion, Azarenka, who Monday will be no. 1 in the rankings again, and Radwanska. When the match has become tough she stepped up to the task and won her fourteenth Grand Slam title showing once again that she’s a great champion.
